The Duskbloods Tier List Hub

A pre-launch evaluation framework—not invented S/A/B ranks

Tier List Hub

Full tier lists with confident S-tier labels are everywhere in pre-release hype cycles. For The Duskbloods—an upcoming FromSoftware PvPvE action game for Nintendo Switch 2 directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki—that kind of ranking would be misleading. Numeric stat tables, weapon DPS tiers, and named loadouts are not officially published at the time of writing. This hub offers a pre-release archetype evaluation framework you can use during the Closed Network Test (August 21–23, 2026) and refine after launch in 2026.

Why we are not publishing fake letter tiers

Responsible wiki coverage separates evidence from speculation. Trailers show Bloodsworn fighting with melee weapons and firearms across gothic and Victorian spaces, but they do not expose complete progression curves or patch-ready balance sheets. Assigning made-up S/A/B ranks to imaginary build names would contradict our Builds hub philosophy: plan around roles, map lanes, and Victory Point tempo—not unverified numbers.

The evaluation axes we recommend

Instead of a single letter grade, score each experimental build on five axes after you play:

  1. Duel tempo (Destined Rivals) — Can you win or trade favorably in short fights without overcommitting when First Blood spawns?
  2. Companion value (Destined Companion) — Does your kit protect allies, secure objectives, or enable revives when PvEvE pressure spikes?
  3. Range band fit — Early-modern maps mix alleys and courtyards; does your weapon set work at both melee and firearm distances shown in footage?
  4. Mobility and disengage — Eight-player lobbies punish greedy chase. Note whether you can reset after a failed First Blood attempt.
  5. Hub synergy — Hub customisation and blood history may amplify certain paths; track whether your in-match build matches what you invested in offline.

Rate each axis Strong / Stable / Weak / Unknown based on your own CNT notes—not community rumor.

How roles reshape “tier” conversations

The Duskbloods pairs Destined Rivals with Destined Companion roles inside the broader Bloodsworn fantasy. A loadout that looks mediocre in solo theorycraft can be Stable when a Companion enables its windows. Conversely, a flashy duel kit may be Weak on maps with long sightlines if you cannot close distance safely. Tier talk must include team context and Nintendo Switch Online matchmaking realities during the test.

Using the Network Test as your lab

The CNT is the first sanctioned window to collect reproducible observations on Switch 2. Play at least two sessions per archetype you test, swap roles when allowed, and record map names, event types, and outcome (Victory Points secured, First Blood taken or denied). Avoid exporting one lucky match as proof of S-tier status.

Where to go deeper

For speculative archetype descriptions grounded in trailer cues—clearly labeled as pre-release theory—read archetype notes. For loadout planning without invented stats, visit early build ideas and the Bloodsworn hub. Match flow context lives in Gameplay and how to play PvPvE.

After launch: how this hub will evolve

Once FromSoftware ships balance patches and community consensus forms around reproducible data, we may publish curated tier snapshots with patch numbers and sample sizes cited. Until then, treat this page as a methodology guide—not a leaderboard of fabricated rankings.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers drawn from official Network Test and Creator’s Voice details.

Why doesn't this wiki show an S/A/B tier list yet?

Official numeric balance data and complete rosters are not public. Letter tiers without patch context would mislead players preparing for the 2026 release and the August 2026 CNT.

Can I still compare builds before launch?

Yes—use the five-axis framework here and document your own CNT results. Compare notes with squadmates rather than copying unverified charts from social media.

Will Destined Companion builds rank differently from Rivals?

They should be evaluated on different criteria. Companions prioritize objective security and ally enablement; Rivals prioritize duel tempo and First Blood pressure. Merging them into one list hides role value.

When will a data-backed tier list appear?

After launch or major post-CNT patches when we can cite reproducible match observations and official patch notes—not before.
